Now that you know how to fuse fine silver rings, expand your chain expertise by creating different styles of chain. We will go over 'loop-in-loop' and 'double loop-in-loop' (or Roman chain) techniques. We will also cover the use of dapping blocks to shape your links, twisting links for curb chain and finishing with hammers, polishing and patina. |
![]() Supply List • Fine silver in gauge and length of your choice • Chain nose pliers, optional • Mandrels, dowels, knitting needles, etc. in the diameter that you would like to make rings in, optional • Fiskar scissors in smaller models, optional • Saw frame and blades (4/0, 3/0, or 2/0), optional • Micro Torch, optional • All tools will be available for use in class • No loose clothing, tie hair back! |
